At one time or another most of us have asked these questions – “Who am I?” “What matters most?” and “Why am I here?” If we can find answers to these questions, we are likely to find God sending us out to approach life with both passion and purpose. But now is the time to for us to do that as the clock is ticking.
With that thought in mind, I want to share with you some timely words by author Matthew Kelly related to this topic.
So, it is time to stop making excuses. We have so many excuses, but at the end of our lives I
think all of our excuses are gathered up and placed into two buckets: the too young bucket
and the too old bucket. Most people really only have two excuses. They spend the first half of
their lives telling themselves, “I am too young for those things,” and the second half of their
lives telling themselves, “I am too old for those things.” And life passes us by in the blink of an
eye. Don’t let these be your excuses. Whatever your age, I am absolutely convinced that now
is your time. Now is our time.
Whether you are reading this from Uganda, Canada, Africa, France, the UK, or right here in the U.S. – know that you were placed where you are, called to make a difference in this generation.
